Overview

Sportsmanship is an attitude which transfers to all characteristics of life. In refining good sportsmanship an athlete is organized to succeed in personal goals and give toward the community. People seek the inspiration athletes bring. This is my purpose: be the best and give the best.

My triathlon pursuit began in 2004. I welcome this sport for its requirement of being extraordinarily fit. By training for three different disciplines, my athletic conditioning is more balanced. I train with the objective of finishing the Ford Ironman World Championship 2008.

Two years prior 2004 my commitment was boxing where I used this as the ultimate workout experience. Training for boxing conditioned all muscle groups as well as provided both aerobic and anaerobic exercise. The boxing workout set the foundation for my endurance capacity.

Up until 2003 my home was called Latvia, a small country in Eastern Europe. Here my competition sport of choice was motocross. For six years I raced with Yamaha engine type 125cc. This was the beginning of instruction in the art of competitiveness.

These have been the stations along my life. I expect to move up in this progression of change and growth. As a result I am better adept to impact my environment and be a mentor to children. Now in California I am training daily and competing locally for the upcoming events. I am thankful to travel along this road less traveled of endurance competition!
